Activity 1 – TRY A NEW RECIPE
Trust us when we tell you, drop what you’re doing and go make this GIANT blueberry pancake. You’ll probably end up eating it every single morning for the rest of quarantine. It’s so easy to make!
1 1/2 cups of Birch Benders Pancake & Waffle Mix (Currently only $4.49 on Amazon!)
1 1/3 Water
1 pint of Blueberries
2 tbsp vegetable oil or oil of choice
2 tbs of butter
Measuring Cup & Measuring Spoon (Set of 7 for only $12.97 on Amazon!)
Mixing Wooden Spool
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix birch benders mix, water, and blueberries in a bowl until smooth. Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil and 2 tbs of butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Once slightly browned, pour mixture in skillet and cook for about 6 – 8 minutes. Batter will still look uncooked but edges should start browning. Transfer to oven and cook for another 10 minutes or until completely cooked through. Take out of the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Flip skillet upside down on a plate and pancake should slip right out. Drizzle with maple syrup and enjoy 🙂
Activity 2 – SIDEWALK ART

Whether you want to write out your to-do list for the week, or track your fitness goals, bullet journaling can help keep you inspired. Ryder Carroll, a thirty-nine year old digital designer invented the bullet journal and it’s become a craze amongst many since. In his words, the bullet journal is meant “to help you track the past, organize the present, and plan for the future.”
The world is a messy unpredictable place. With current shelter in place mandates, a lot of us are experiencing anxiety and uncertainty. We’ve all been challenged to find our new normal. It’s easy to feel unmotivated but why not change the narrative. Start by practicing positive affirmations and write it down in your journal.
Don’t be so hard on yourself. There is no right or wrong way to bullet journal. They key is to start writing and see where the pages take you!

This one is our favorite activity. All you need is yourself and your kids! We understand that planning your kids day strictly with indoor activities is not easy and there are only so many board games the family can play. We challenge you to get creative with your kids and plan a scavenger hunt in your house and backyard.
- Write out clues for where each item is hidden
- Hide a couple fun items like sweet treats for the kids
